Building on its decades long reputation as a leading retirement fund since its inception in 1967, The Hospitality and General Provident Fund continues to deliver excellent services and solutions to its members today. Today, the HGPF also provides housing loans to its members, and as such is registered with the National Credit Regulator. It’s just one more way that we endeavour to further add value to our members’ lives. We also offer disability and death benefits that are approved by the South African Revenue Services, in addition to providing group funeral benefits and extra temporary income protection.

Regional Forum 2017

 

Twice every year, an HGPF delegation (along with administrator Borwa Financial Services) meets Member Representatives across the country to conduct face-to-face sessions called Regional Forums. These are held in each Region. Every participating company should be represented in the meeting!

Presentations cover topics like updates on fund performance, updates on changes in the retirement funds industry, Member Reps Training & Education on Fund Issues Member Reps Escalating Workplace Issues & Recommendations, and others. This event is one of the features that sets HGPF apart from any other fund in South Africa.
